Model 105: Details of the Comp Card

We’re selfie Kings and Queens over here in this generation; we know how to work and angle the camera phone to life.  Slay the camera phone hunti! However, those pics are not the pictures I recommend for your comp card! Please, I strongly suggest hiring a professional photographer to capture your images that you would like to use for your comp card.  The comp card should reflect the line of work you’re ready to step into in the fashion industry. As of now let’s start off with the headshot, please read below;

Ladies:

  • Natural Make-up

  • Hair pulled back into a ponytail

  • Soft curls (Extension Hair)

  • Natural Hair ladies (Style your hair off the face/curls should frame your face)

  • Wear a white tank top

Gentlemen:

  • No hats

  • Hair cut

  • Line-up (Dreads/Braids/Afro)

  • Wear a white t-shirt

Please indicate on your comp card the following details:

  • Name

  • Contact Information (e-mail address/phone number) I do suggest you create an e-mail address you only utilize for modeling

  • Height

  • Measurements
